Mursa + WhatsApp

Your whole day already runs through WhatsApp. Clients ask for things there. Your family plans there. And when you need to remember something, you message yourself, star a message, or screenshot a chat. Then the message scrolls away, the star pile grows, and the thing you promised on Tuesday quietly dies by Friday.

WhatsApp is a river, not a system. It is where commitments are made, but it has no reminders, no calendar, and no task list. Every productivity app expects you to leave WhatsApp, open another app, and retype what someone just asked you. That context switch is exactly where tasks get lost, dozens of times a week.

Quick answer: the reliable way to manage tasks from WhatsApp is a WhatsApp task manager like Mursa. You text a task, reminder, or meeting to Mursa the way you would text a friend. It understands the message, schedules it on your calendar, and sends the reminder back to your WhatsApp at the right time.

How it works
1

Connect your number

Link WhatsApp from Mursa Settings and send one message to the Mursa number. That chat becomes your personal assistant. No new app to install, no new habit to build.

2

Text it like a friend

Send 'remind me to pay rent on the 1st', 'call Priya tomorrow at 5pm', or 'meeting with the design team Thursday 2pm'. Plain language, typos and all. Forward messages from other chats too.

3

Voice notes work too

Driving or walking? Send a voice note. Mursa transcribes it and turns it into a task or event, the same as a typed message.

4

It schedules, you confirm

Tasks land in your Mursa inbox with dates and priorities. Meetings become real Google Calendar events. You get a short confirmation in the chat, with tap buttons to undo or adjust.

5

Reminders come back to WhatsApp

When a reminder is due or a meeting is about to start, the nudge arrives in your WhatsApp, the one notification channel you never ignore.

Sync details

What syncs

  • Tasks created from messages you send to Mursa (with dates and priorities parsed from plain language)
  • Reminders (text 'remind me...' and the ping arrives on WhatsApp at that time)
  • Google Calendar events created from meeting messages, with a heads-up before they start
  • Voice notes, transcribed into tasks or events
  • Task actions from chat: complete, snooze, edit, or delete with a reply or a tap

Does not sync

  • Your other WhatsApp chats (Mursa only ever sees messages you send to its number)
  • Your WhatsApp contacts or groups
  • Messages to other people (Mursa never messages your contacts, ever)
  • WhatsApp status, media galleries, or chat backups
Privacy

Mursa only receives the messages you deliberately send or forward to its WhatsApp number. It has no access to your other conversations, your contacts, or your groups; WhatsApp's architecture makes that impossible for a business number. Nothing is ever sent to anyone except you.

Note

The WhatsApp assistant is currently rolling out to private beta users.
